ALOHA
This is the last day for practice before the real shows start. The Lava looks like it is going to let us stay where we are for at least the first few shows.... It appears that the flow will cross behind the JASONVILLE II location approx. 100 yds. This should make for great video and give the Argonauts an easily accessible location to test lava. The road will catch fire on the leading edge and the smell of asphalt is expected....
The place looks like a spaghetti factory behind the scenes with wires, and cables everywhere. (Sorta like under the raised floor....) We have planned a little for the lava, most cables are labeled and should be easy to reconnect..... The first of the Argonauts have arrived and are getting their helicopter, and gas mask training today. They will be hiking around the lava and getting their first taste of early morning shows today. The day begins around 2:00 A.M.. I think this is one of the hardest things these teenagers have to endure... Well after watching the rehearsals I have decided not to tell you all the story of Pele, and say that you will learn the story by watching the shows... Good way to get you all to a show..... Aloha , this is Cornelius and it's my turn to enter something into the log. Camp life is really something to behold. Our choice of activities are bowling, tennis, pool, basketball, air hockey. But, due to our grueling work schedule most of the off hours are spent reading a few pages a night of what is turning out to be a very good book. The chefs who prepare the daily dinner meals see to it that the daily allotment of rice, pasta and salad. are met.
Well next log is after the shows start... See you at a show...
