Fran Greenspan of Dix Hills, New York, teaches
science to grades two, four, six, and eight at the
Buckley Country Day School in Roslyn, NY.
Greenspan and her sixth grade class created the
ABC, Color Me Environmental Education Coloring Book
which sold nationwide This book launched Children
Recycling, Educating, Acting to Save the
Environment (Project C.R.E.A.T.E.), a program for
which they were awarded the 1992 "President's
Environmental Youth Award." The group traveled to
Washington, D.C. to meet President Bush.
