Paul Varsho
Menomonie, Wisconsin
Paul Varsho of Menomonie, Wisconsin, teaches
Integrated Earth Science for grade eight at
Menomonie Middle School. Varsho has been nominated
nine years in a row for the Presidential Awards for
Excellence in Science and Mathematics. In 1990, he
received the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers
(WSST) Regional Award for Excellence in Science
Teaching. He has also participated in Project
FIRST (Field Experience: Research by Science
Teachers) in which he did extensive geological
research in Wisconsin.
