Alan Rodger
Alan Rodger of Arbroath, Scotland is a chemistry and general science teacher
for students ages 11 to 18 at Arbroath High School. Rodger established the
school science club, which won first place in Scotland science competitions
and later second place in UK national competitions. He pioneered the use of
the JASON VI Project Curriculum within his school and helped gain continued
media coverage and funding for trips to the UK PIN site for his school.
Rodger likes to do things now as an adult that he couldn't do as a child
because of his asthma. He learned to swim at age 25 and quickly learned
lifesaving techniques. He also likes cycling and volleyball.
